The Recipe Solver name, mark, site, original recipes, photographs we produce, and software are protected by copyright. You may cook from a solve for personal use. You may not copy the service, scrape the catalog, or republish our recipes as your own product.

Trademark

Recipe Solver™ is a trademark of Recipe Solver. All other trademarks are the property of their respective owners.

Other brand names

Brand names appear only to identify packaged foods you ask us to solve. Recipe Solver is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by those trademark owners. Homemade versions are original recipes inspired by a style of food — not official or identical products.

When you type or scan a well-known product, we use that name only so we know which style of food you mean. The three homemade versions (Closest, Clean, Safe) are our own recipes. They are not official, licensed, or guaranteed to match any commercial product.

Privacy

Your kitchen — pantry, people, needs, list, and what you cooked — lives on this device until you sign in. We do not sell it. After you add the app to your home screen, the shelf, photos of food we ship, and this kitchen stay available when the network drops.

Camera and barcode: photos and codes are used only to identify a food so we can solve it. We do not build a gallery of your kitchen. Speech in cook mode stays on the phone. A short health log of errors and slow taps stays on this device — see Health in the footer.

If you join the Plus list, we keep the email you typed so we can tell you when billing is live. We do not charge a card today.

Google and X sign-in go through Grok's auth broker (auth.grok.me). The broker talks to Google or X; this app never sees those passwords or their access tokens. We keep only a Recipe Solver session (name, email, photo) so the kitchen can follow you to another phone. Email-and-password accounts live in this app's database — not at Google, X, or the broker. Microsoft, Apple, and a standalone "Sign in with Grok" are not offered.

Artificial intelligence

Catalog classics are written by us. Custom solves, photo reads, and pantry-tonight use Grok (xAI) on our server. You never connect ChatGPT, Claude, or paste an API key. Do not send secrets or medical records in a photo or note. Grok can be wrong — taste and read labels in your own kitchen.

Safe versions are written to avoid the allergens you list. Always read ingredient labels in your own kitchen. Recipe Solver is not a substitute for medical advice.
